Get it! It is really lots of fun, especially Wii Sports Resort (doesn't come included in Wii packaging). However, if you want to play the much cheaper, pirated games (which I don't play, FYI, was told by a friend), you can modify your wii in a shop so it can accept pirated games. Although I really don't understand. Modifying your wii is much more expensive than one real, un-pirated game right? I guess it helps in the long run... Happy Wii-ing! šŸ˜„

          Emelyn:
hmm.... I think my kids are very deprived.

They have no X-Box, PSP, DS, Game Boy, and Wii.
Basically, none of the electronic games.
          Only computer.

          Am I a bad parent ?
Then i am too lor. šŸ˜›
So, nope. You're not a bad parent! :hugs:

We have an old version of the X-Box but
hubs bought that for himself. šŸ˜› So, no
games for the kids. He WAS the kid.

Last year's SA2, we told her we will consider
getting DD1 a PSP if she scored all Band 1.
She asked, why must all 3 subjects get Band 1?
I said by right should get all full marks then can..
300 plus for that thing you know... so i shared with
her that if she wanted to save her pocket money to
get it herself, it would be equivalent to not eating for
the whole year! (Plus the following year too if to include
the price hike and GSTs) šŸ˜› And furthermore, mummy does
not work. So mummy has to save the money to get it for her.
These days, must always remember to share with children that
things aren't easy to get... must understand the value of money
and how hard it is to work to find that money in the first place....

Somehow, the doting grandpa had quietly beaten us to it.
He told her that she will get one if he finds she did well and tried
her best. In actual fact, he oredi bought it and let her play with it
in his room when we visited. He told her he was keeping it safe 4
her until he saw the report book.

So, my daddie told me we dun need to get it. And plus, he also got
DD2 a DS Lite just to be fair to both grand kiddies. 😐

          So... there.

          Deprivation solved i guess... :rotflmao:
          schellen:
No, our DD only has TV, DVD and PC, for electronic games and all must go through \"Parent Censorship Board\" first. šŸ˜‰
          Yeah, us too! :celebrate:

I heard there's this place in Causeway point that converts parallel imported Korean set to English version and gives you the cheap game option. However, software stability risk is something that you need to consider and I heard you can play the latest games.

It's the same promo at Challenger too... The wii console comes with wii sports bundled in, so pls dun be mistaken that it is an additional freebie.

Is $349 considered a good price? Thanks.

I think it should be a good price as my friend purchased at Best Denki in Apr 09 was selling at $699 at Best Denki.
