Can I check the average T score for red swastica last year?

a) PR has priority over SG ACROSS phase, but NOT within the same phase.


eg. within 2C - all SG kids will enter first, before first PR kid.

however as long as still have remaining seats in 2C AFTER all SG kids had entered - PR kids can still enter 2C fill up leftover seats, before the next phase, 2C Supp come.

phase 2C - parents have 3 days to register.
30 and 31 July 2012, 1 August 2012 (Mon, Tues, Wed)

what you can do is .... wait until 3rd day.
3rd day is the last day of registration for phase 2C, ie. 1 August Wednesday.

On 3rd day, call up both schools P1 registration officer on duty, find out what's the latest Total number applicants (both SC and PRs kids). Best is station one spouse in each school, one in Red Swastika, another in Bedok Green. Phone lines may be engaged on busy registration day.

The final number of applicants disclosed on the spot live scene from Bedok Green will indicate to you - whether you should proceed with Bedok Green in phase 2C or not.

because every year the number of vacancies and number of applicants vary. Right now, can't tell as MOE just changed new rule to favor SC.

b)

Red Swastika (RS) didn't post her PSLE results on school website.
Thus, only way to find out her average T score and %tage Quality passes (subject by subject) is to write in, ask school.
unless parents from RS can share.

I wouldn't put it this way..

SC has priority over PR within a phase, but not between phases.

PR NEVER had \"priority\" over SC, strictly speaking, with regards to SC vs PR purely, w/o factoring in phase advantages.

If a PR wants to enter a school, it is possible only if there is more vacancies than SC applicants within a phase. But they can attempt more than 1 phase if they are eligible.

Were they willing to share such info readily or do you have to explain yourself in details before they tell you? I had earlier assumed they may not entertain such question. Thanks for letting us know.. I'm learning bit by bit via this forum

I’m newbie and not familiar with the Pri school registration. I’m staying in my mother’s place in bedok 1.2km away from Temasek Pri and Bedok Green pri is just across the road. My first choice is Temasek Pri, backup is St. Anthony Connossian Pri.

Just want to find out under Phase 2C, if I register my girl for Temasek, when is the balloting? If I fail to get her in to Temasek Pri, when can I register for St. Anthony? St. Anthony Connossian is more than 1km from my mother’s place. My last choice is Bedok Green Pri. My family members are all SC. Can anyone advise please?

Base on last year’s result, temasek pri was a "hot" school" which requires balloting in phase 2C. If you fail in phase 2C, you can only register at St Anthony in phase 2C(S). Last year’s registration, balloting is also required in Phase 2C(S) for those who stay > 1km.
