[Bedok] Primary Schools
-
Phrase 2A2 is over and thank god that the supply in TPS can meet the demand. I m just waiting for the official letter from the school that DD is succesful in her registration.
When i saw the no of registrations for RSS vs the no of available places, i really perspired for fellow parents. For the remaining phrase, its really going to be stressful for the parents.
Jiayou everyone!

Hows the review for fengshan primary school? Does that mean that even if I volunteer for Yu Neng primary school, I need to be within 1 km from the school in order to stand a chance for my kid to enter?
-
I believe red swastika, yu neng and fengshan need to ballot.
I really pity those parents who stay within 1km or worst 500m and fail to get a place in any of the 3 schools.
My friend’s flat is just 3min walk to yu neng, 5 min walk to fengshan and 10min walk to red swastika. If he cannot get into any of the 3 schools, it will be a nightmare for him as the nearest school like bedok green, da mai, is not within walking distance and there is no direct public transport to these schools . the cost of transport will definitely add burden to him as he is the only breadwinner in his family.
we have been staying in his block for past 30 years, and it is amaze to find the 3 schools around here have become so popular ! -

Hi! I am new in this thread... I am looking for schools which has \"Hindi\" as parallel program in their schools in Bedok, that make my choice very limited! I come in 2C category and looking for Temasek or Opera Estate - these 2 schools offer Hindi. Any one knows about Opera Estate Primary School?
Not sure which part of bedok are you staying, but have you consider schools in Tampines? -

Sigh. Many of those not really staying there, just rent the flat and change IC.I believe red swastika, yu neng and fengshan need to ballot.

I'll pray for your friend. Does he be PV for the school?

If your friend can’t get into any of the 3 schools mentioned, ask him to seek Bedok mp’s help for transfer. Meanwhile, can consider other schools too like temasek, tanjong katong, ngee ann, opera estate, Telok kurau, Bedok green, Tampines, Geylang Methodist.
Your friend’s son is it boy?
If boy, cAn consider st Stephen.
If girl, can consider chij katong, Haig girls, st Anthony convent, canossa convent, st Margaret. -
I am surprised yu neng and fengshan are so popular. I know red swastika is of course popular. What other choices can we go for? I am singaporean.
