Kinda expected results for St Stephen's due to the fact that it is a Catholic school n lots of church affiliations.
St.Stephen last year's top PSLE score - 284. They almost produced a top PSLE scorer as the top scorer was 285phtthp:
I am quite interested to register my son for St Stephens but not able to get their PSLE scores for 2012. Anyone has better luck?

SSS seems very secretive. The school has said to provide your registration number if you want to know the detailed breakdown. They are content on saying that as of now - there are still vacancies.
Seems like the school admin not sharing the detailed info. Someone posted earlier stating that the school said there should still be vacancy left for SC. Maybe you can check again today after 430pm?Mama_ambitious:
Can parents of kids that have already registered kindly ask for the breakdown pls?
Or can PM me the Number pls?
Else will be tough for those that are considering at Stephens to make a decision.
Pls assist. Thanks so much! -
tomorrow is last day of 2C.
Those who want to apply St Stephen - better go down tomorrow.
once you’re there, you’ll know the stats. -

Yuneng is locate within region of higher population density. but existence of RSS might pull away some of the demand.Thx to Phtthp sharing, I've gathered that both Yuneng and Temasek are both hotly popular schools for SC within 1 km this year.
I'm asking on behalf of someone, if you have a choice and willing to take the risk which school will you try to ballot for? Yuneng or Temasek?
From what we gather,
1. Temasek is academic inclined (last year top student 281) Any idea for Yuneng? Is Temasek really better?
2. Great CCAs for both schools.
3. Heard good reviews of teachers from both schools.
4. Temasek recently renovated. How about Yuneng?
She was at first leaning towards to Yuneng thinking it would be easier to enter, but seems like its worth it to try for temasek since risks are similar. Thanks in advance for any input.
However, if most parents reckoned that RSS is a gone case, and go for yu neng, then most likely yu neng should face fiercer competition. -
And, just to add, 5 blocks of HDB within 1km of Temasek was enbloc few years ago, and the residents move to bedok central.
The block were later rented to PRs or workers. So, competition at 2C might be fewer then it appears. However, do check out the statistics for more accurate assessment. -
Yu neng now has 70 applicants vying for 29 vacancies...feng Shan running into balloting for SC less than 1 km....
