      Maple leaf:
SO confirmed SMO is for Secondary . I was confused why some primary school claimed that they won the SMO???

SMO (Junior) is typically taken by Sec 1 & 2 students. However, as students are getting more and more MO-savvy and their first foray into MO is getting earlier and earlier (e.g. P4), it is not uncommon for P6 students to take SMO (Junior). This year, three P6 students made it into the top 30 individual positions (specifically 21st, 22nd, 24th) in SMO (Junior).

How’s the SMO Junior this year? I heard the questions are quite difficult when compared to last year’s.

some mathematical terms in the question were unheard of........ πŸ˜‰

It may not be as hard as 2009, a true killer paper. 11 marks was all it took to secure a Gold then. How did RI juniors fare? I guess champion team is either RI or NUSH.
