hi bluebelt,carol77:
hihi,
my DS will be registering for Pri 1 next year.
We are staying at Pandan gardens, and all the kids there seem to be studying at Qifa. Is Qifa a good school which develops children as a whole and not just push them academically?
Comparing Qifa and Clementi Pri, which school is better?
Hi carol77,
I am also staying in pandan Gdns ... Not all kids here r going Qifa , there r also quite a number going Fuhua.
so happie to find some1 recommending other sch. i'm not that convinced abt Qifa somehow ...
Is your child in Fuhua? -

mine is also in K1 now.. now abit stressed over his registration next year. Does Fuhua hv open house? we are >2km right? need balloting? -
Hi carol77
Fr my block, I am >2km for Fuhua
1-2 km for Qifa
1-2 km for Nan Hua -
Fuhua has started an inhouse BASC just last month, fyi.
The school block is as high as 6 floors and hence that block has lifts. -
Hi,
I have a son born in Yr 2007 and hence his P1 registeration is in Yr 2013.
I am a ex student from Clementi Pri Sch and I am staying within 1km from Nan Hua Pri Sch.
Could anyone share with me whether I should try Nan Hua Pri Sch under Phase 2C and hence give up Phase 2A (2) at Clementi Pri Sch?
Anyone care to share more on Clementi Pri Sch? Are the teachers good and dedicated?
Thanks! -
register at your alma mater Clementi primary first. Clinch it safely under 2A first.
the final answer depends on the situation, there and then on actual day itself. Monitor closely.
a) if situation favourable, Nan Hua admin confirmed 100% guarantee no need to ballot for your distance range on actual day, then withdraw from Clementi primary, re-register at Nan Hua.
b) if situation dun even let you have any chance to ballot at Nan Hua, or you still need to ballot for limited vacancies, 2 choices.
either stay put at Clementi, or risk to ballot.
in the event you balloted out, which other contingency school next in your plan?
Clementi primary:-

At this moment, no contingency school based on b). Any feedback on Bukit Timah Pri Sch?
I am submitting my PV for Nan Hua & Pei Hwa Presbterian. But I am staying within 1 to 2km from Pei Hwa so don’t know have the chance to ballot.
From my friend’s P1 enrolment experience this year, I have to really strategize my move. She cried when she failed the balloting under Phase 2C for a neighbourhood school and she is staying within 1km from the school.
