What abt phase 2C for NHPS ? Anyone done any analysis? Last year was terribly competitive ..not sure what will be the situation like this year
Year 2011 P2C, success rate for within 1km is 3children for 1place (33%).
It is tougher to analysis trend for P2C cos new flats, SC policy, parent sentiment at prior to registration.
Nevertheless, if you are staying within 1km and is SC, success rate 45 to 50% (my guess). Good Luck! -
Ref NHPS, most critical data should be out by this Friday where majority of vacancy will be taken up - hopefully take up rate @ Phase 1 is less than 40% (ie 96).

NHPS P1 day 1 - 108places taken.
Yr 11 P1 was 109, hopefully not many more places by tomorrow. -
THT, you have really been keeping tap of NHPS registration!! I am getting really nervous now. I have shifted house and done with PV. All I can do is hope for the best!

After phase 1 NHPS is abt last year, 108 taken. Now have to see phase 2A. if there is not much changes compared to last year. phase 2C will be left with abt 29 places. right?

You are right, can only wait for P2A outcome.
Last year was a peak year which recorded highest number of registration prior to P2B, I was not expecting this year to record aame number of registration todate.
Isn't Singapore birthdate declining since year 2000 but looking at overall P1 registration island wide, the take up rate is amazingly high even for some other neighborhood school.
I guess parent is better informed nowadays. -
As each phase passes, the risk of balloting for NHPS @ P2B within 1km seem to be likely. I have evaluated other schools for P2B but it seem all popular school take u rate is equally high. Now can only wait till next Friday for P2A2 outcome.
