Melt has top-notch dishes though I think the spread is not as wide as The Line. Having said that, I haven’t been to The Line lately, the last time I went was about a year ago. Melt I went in July.
Is the weekend buffet lunch at Straits Cafe at Rendezvous Hotel good? Any comments are appreciated.

TIA.

been to Rendezvous buffet once, to me so so only.... πŸ˜‰

so so only at the pice of $37++, then I'll have to reconsider. Is it any better than cafebiz at Traders.
Btw, may I ask if you'd been there before or after its renovation?
probably i was there before the renovation (for dinner)πŸ˜‰
i found the food not of much variety.

as for cafebiz, when i patronised, the buffet dinner was priced at $50 per person,
with some discounts fr uob card.
more variety, better spread of deserts, more expensive food like oysters and big prawns.
but be warned, i heard that the recent promo 1 for 1 wasn't that great,
spread and more expensive food were missing.

I do like the idea of the top-notch dishes. Prefer that to a bigger spread with mediocre food.

The Line (a year ago) had really nice tempura and sashimi. My hubby liked their BBQ seafood. Had good dessert too.

How about the one at Mandarin Hotel, I heard that one is quite impressive, both the spread and the price!

If you are referring to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, the buffet place would be Melt.

Anyone tried Kuishinbo at Jurong point?

Also, between Traders and Merchant Court, which has nicer food?

Thanks.
IMO, Kushinbo at Suntec seems better than JP.... 😎
