Muslim & Non-Muslim, can they marry?

No, they can’t!

Religion is a very personal thing, and it is something that can never, and should never be compromised.

Of course, we have to respect all religions, that was even taught by the Prophet.

However, if one is born a Muslim, and brought up as a Muslim (at least have the basic foundation of a Muslim), he or she should know better than to marry someone of another religion.

That is true as well for most Abrahamic religions. Not sure about Buddhism or Taoism though.
