I have managed to source books from around the world. I am every tutors nightmare as I have better resources than them - and I let them know it too!!

I buy GEP books from India and Australia. I have already placed links for them in this section. It’s better than suspect or incompetent tutor agencies.

Any of you know of a good lawyer to sue him for cheating and deceit.Maybe we should take class action

For parents who got partial refunds did the crook Kelvin ong wee loong get you to sign document as full and final settlement.???His assesment books also sold in Malaysia and Hong Kong,what are the authorities in Singapore doing to prevent him for tarnishing the reputation of Singapore? :yikes:

It was previously reported in ST that some parents got back 1 month of refund after negotiations. You might wish to contact the ST reporter who started this thread and did the breaking report to do a follow up report and perhaps assist to gather affected parents. Should be a very big number over 8 years. You need a contact person to initate and usually the numbers will grow. Would be very surprised that any parent managed to get a full refund. Why would he want to do that voluntarily? He was quoted in ST that he has closed the center and \"case closed\". Are u sure the center is still opened and he is still giving tuition? Quite hard to believe.

Maybe he will just change his name and reopen another centre unless he is being charged.

From my understanding this Kelvin Ong’s case is a mockery of our social system and the laws of the land.

How can we allow someone (Kelvin Ong Wee Loong) to pull such a scam, and then be let off? Where is the justice?

Kelvin Ong just fleeces all the students and then closes down his centre. Apparently the authorities cannot do anything about it:

1.\tCASE can only take action against the centre ARISTOCARE.
2.\tThe police and CAD are not looking into the case.
3.\tMOE keeping mum.

It is up to the individual parents to engage lawyers to sue him.

Kelvin probably knows that most parents will not do it; hence he will be able to get away with it unscathed.

Remember the 3 fully paid landed properties of his?

Kelvin Ong is still absolutely ARROGANT and UNREMORSEFUL.

I only hope that justice will be carried out.... :siam:

Parents in the meantime please do not sign the paper that Kelvin is trying to get you to sign.

Parents who want to get their full refund back from him please drop me a private email.

We need to join forces so that we will not be outsmarted by such unscrupulous and arrogant people.

I can only view this story from afar, but how big and contentious is the Kelvin Ong affair in Singapore. Can he be prosecuted, does he still tutor, is he contrite. Can someone post some links to some of the local papers’ stories?..It’s getting oh so, fascinating.


PS…my best friend’s son got three A* in his A’ Levels yesterday, and has secured his place at Oxford University.
