But why only this bottle becomes squashed like that? We sterilize other bottles at the same time.

      In d same cycle?
If so, it points to a defective bottle.

      Yes, same cycle.

My maid feels that this bottle is a little softer than the other one.. 🤷

Did your helper make that reference before or after sterilization?
When it's still hot, it may seem like a lil softer.

Not sure, must ask her again tomorrow.

Get squished bottles changed with the pics you took.

Bring sterilizer to the agent to have a look asap!
Baby needs clean n safe bottles for use everyday.
          Don’t hesitate any longer.

This is the second time already. The first time when this happened, I thought of returning it. But the bottle went back to its original shape after dunno how long. So no proof even if I bring it back to distributor.

Isn't this picture proof? Bring back and get it changed.

Yup, after that first experience, decided to snap the photo as proof this time

After sterilising this bottle in a steam sterilizer, it became like this.

Is this a defect? Safe to use the bottle when it returns to its original shape?
Not safe to use. After sterilising, it shouldn't be in this way??? How long has this bottle been used? Is this a 2nd hand one? Or the steriliser goes haywire? :scratchhead:

I had a steriliser but never use. What I do I just put the bottle (after wash with cold water) soak in hot water & take out. 😉

I think the sterilizer probably having some problem…the bottle can only deform that way under extreme heating

Urm… steam steriliser supposed to go up to 100 degrees Celcius only, right? If your steriliser is defective (or ran out of water), the rest of the items should become warped, too!

Yes, email Philips Avent and I’m sure they will be shocked! Old or new bottle!

Brand new bottle and brand new steriliser.

Edit: the bottle was new from a box and we probably used it for a few weeks or a few months (can't be exactly sure as we have 2 such bottles)
