      Hi

Does anyone has any feedback on Perceptum P4 Maths class. I know their star tutors only teach the P5 & P6 class, so I am not sure if their P4 teachers are just as good.

Looking for a good Maths tuition centre for dd for next year.

      TIA

My son has been in perceptum upp bt timah for over 2 years . It has indeed helped him in solving tricky questions , while still maintaining the love and interest of challenging math questions !

His Sch teachers have been noticing that he has been solving his math homework not like how the school text book typically teaches , rather he solves it via the "perceptum method ". He has also helped his classmates in solving some difficult questions using this method which his friends also have mentioned , that it’s easier to understand . I totally am in awe how perceptum has helped my son !

There are many Maths enrichment centres these days but if you believe in sending your kids to one which you need not withdraw due to uncommitted teachers employed by the centres, Perceptum is the choice. The teachers are kept to a selective list and they are allvery comiitted and are as good or better than the top schools’ teachers. The teachers ware largely trained teachers previously taught in popular schools. Their teaching concepts and explanations are clear and easy to understand. Most importantly they produce results. My two kids’ results have been consistently in high band 1 and my nephew managed to score an A* last year after a 3-mth crash course under a top notch teacher in the centre. We are very grateful as the teacher was willing to accept him at the eleventh hour, 3 months before psle based on his sincerity. No extra charge on the fee dspite many extra extended hours after each lesson. My nephew’s school maths exam results during p5 and p6 sa1 were less than 80. This centre is different from the rest as the teachers teach for passion and not money. Hard to come across such centre these days when most expanded like wildfire after being successful in the first centre.

My ds is also in Perceptum Math. He joined early part of this year and enjoys Mr Lee’s class tremendously. According to ds, Mr Lee explains in clear and easy to understand way. The shortcut methods he teaches help boost ds’ confidence in Math too as he can answer many Math problems faster than his friends. It is not easy to find teachers who can reach out to kids well and motivate them to work harder. Mr Lee is one such teacher.

My son has been with Perceptum for 2 years.

Under the guidance of Mr Daniel Soh (P5) and Mr Kevin Lee (P6), my son’s Math results has improved from 70s to 90s.

My son has also overcome his phobia for Math. He now looks forward to his tuition class at Perceptum every week.

I would like to thank Perceptum’s team of Math teachers for their dedication and guidance towards my son these 2 years.

I would recommend Mr Kevin Lee who teaches Math mainly to P6s. Although he only teaches group classes, he also pays attention to each child and he helped my child make a quantum leap in improving from scoring 60s to 80s. I did not really supervise my child’s Maths homework, so I am not sure how he did it, but Mr Lee spent a lot of extra time coaching him after class. He managed to instill confidence in my child who was rather weak in Maths and now my child says he loves Maths. As someone who has a slight phobia for Maths, I thought that was amazing. My child would recommend Mr Lee to his friends too. Parents need to sign their children up for the P5 classes if they wish to get priority in registering for the P6 classes which are popular. [Declaration: I’m not related to any of Perceptum’s tutors nor do I have any commercial interest in the centre]

                      Yes. Totally agreed. :goodpost:

Perceptum teachers are very committed. My children were under Mr. Lee and Mr. Soh. Both teachers are very helpful and really help each individual student. Although it is a group tuition, the teacher takes note of each individual. Their method of solving Paper 2 is really worth learning.

Most importantly, they are really committed and not commercialized as compare to other tuition centers which we had tried many in the past.
