I am asking for a request, hoping that someone can help me out. I am looking for a chinese tutor who can coach child to survive the chinese in Tao Nan School. As you know the standard is very high especially in upper primary.

I hear from my older DD that there will still be 2 sessions next year. Based on the P1 take-in number, this will certainly be. Will the school be moving back to the original site at Marine Parade next year then?

A parent of my DD's classmate said to me that it's still within what is planned, to relocate back in Dec 2015. Nevertheless, every time I pass by the original site and see the progress of the construction, I have this feeling that it will not be ready by end of the year. Anyone have the same feeling?? :idea:

Yes, I was around the area this afternoon and had the exact same thoughts. It certainly didn't look like it will be ready by the end of the year.

As I see many parents, staying way away from TNS, some parents are staying in SK and Punggol eventually able to get a place in TNS, where I am staying at Telok Kurau and just 5 mins drive from TNS, cracking my head to find ways and means to get my kid into TNS.

Can anyone please help?

Is there any way/ways I can become the school advisory committee or management committee members? or become a staff member of the school?

Join PV via Hokkien Huey Kuan for 2 ballot chances at best. 1 chance at Phase 2B and another at Phase 2C if you fail to get in at the earlier phase. But then, you probably need to ballot successfully at the huay Kuan to have a chance at Phase 2B.

Else, just sit back and cross fingers.

Thanks all for the advice. I understand the P1 registeration phases well. That is why I would like to be able to join the management committee for a sure get in.

What I wanna is a sure get it. Dont want any ballot.

I am willing to sponsor the school for any events or handheld devices needed for in-class educational purposes.

Once again, Thanks for many advice given by the members here, and its not that I wanna to sit infront of the computer and do nothing, please be kind, if not please do not response. Isnt here a place for parents to help each other? means words dont help and you dont gain anything.
