This is what I hear from my grapevine... other parents may like to confirm.Hi
Anybody knows how TNS allocates classes in P5 this year. Thx!
Top mainstream class (with HCL) - 5I
2nd mainstream class (with HCL) - 5H
3rd mainstream class (with HCL) - 5G
Mixed ability mainstream class (with HCL) - 5C to 5F
Mainstream class (without HCL) - 5A & 5B -
Can any parents share which are the top 2 classes for P3 this year? Thanks

From the grapevine, the P3s are randomly allocated. There are no TOP classes, all mixed-ability. -
Thanks Nic Nac. So looks like no more streaming based on top 2 classes anymore?

Any parents here sending their kids to TNS from Punggol? Need some advise on the options on transport available
TIA -
My child born in 2013 and we stay within 1km from taonan. I am contemplating if I should send her there when is our turn for pri 1 registration. My sis in law was telling me that she was once a relief teacher there and she saw alot of rich spoilt brats there. She suggested I should send Ngee Ann instead. Haiiz… those children already in taonan are they stressful. Do they have alot of extra curriculum or tuition after school? Dilemma…

during my DS's 6 years in TNS, we did not encounter any \"rich spoilt brats\".
he did encountered a not so friendly classmate, but the later was only child from a middle working class couple.
dont depend on hear say. since you stay within 1km to TNS, why not pop over, observe and form your own opinion.

Rich kids?! My friend was lamenting that there are many neighborhood kids mixing around with her rich children. But it depends from class to class. The children are happy in Tao Nan is more important than knowing who is rich or not rich.
