Hi
I like to find out if my hubby is now asked to join the CCMC as observer, how long will he get converted? He is very active in his RC and is really passionate into serving the community and residents here so I do not dare to ask him to find out about the benefits because he might be judged. Appreciate if anyone can let me know what ways can his status as CCMC member help with our son admission in 2 years time.
Thank you. -
If he is very active in his RC, he can speak to his CM about his status recognition for his contributions. He will be converted to EM Status. No need to join CCMC to be Observer again mah.

hi hi
He is already EM, but was asked to be CCMC observer… I know EM can get to select schools within the GRC then if he become CCMC member then is it still the same? choose with GRC? -
Should be the same status bah. Unless he is moving to another GRC.

Maintain EM in the RC first and at the same time still go for CCMC meeting as an observer. Once membership in CCMC is confirmed resigned from the RC. Frankly speaking, CCMC or CCC has better environment compare to RC. At least meeting held in the CC. Members have a certain standard. -
Hi, can I check. If I’m already a EM, when do I get the letter or form to submit for registration? My girl is due for p1 registration this year. Still very unsure of the whole process. Do I need to indicate my school of choice? Thanks

Hi,
was hoping if someone can help me with this.
my ques may sound stupid. But I'm really quite lost.
1) how do i find out if the school i wanted to enrol my girl in is under which GRC?
2) so if my girl is to start primary 1 in 2017, i should start doing volunteer in 2014 as registration starts on 2016? (must be 2 years before?)
3) so i just visit the PA or Community Center near my home and ask for an application form to register myself as a RC member?
4) and also, is there a minimum hours we need to fulfilled? -

Your Constituency Director (CD) will send all RC Chairman an email in July guiding you to obtain the letter endorsement. Your RC Chairman should forward this letter to all the members including you. After you receive this email you will get to know what to do and how to do. No need to indicate your school of choice, only need the endorsement to submit to your school of choice. -

====yes, you are right, the earlier the better. Not necessary 2 year, but at least 1 year and above
3) so i just visit the PA or Community Center near my home and ask for an application form to register myself as a RC member?
====go to your CC/RC and fill in the application form; make sure you are Singaporean or PR, and the application my take 1-2 months to approve....
4) and also, is there a minimum hours we need to fulfilled?
