Hi,
Can share how to be a Active Community Leaders? Where can i check which RC i m in and which sch is in my GRC? -
I’ve recently being appointed as grassroot leader (first meeting in July). Since phase 2b registration is in July, I thought I would have served 1 year by the time of registration next year. But I’ve also read that I need to be appointed before 30th June. May I know if I’m too late?

You mean you just started to attend the first meeting in RC? If so, you're not a GRL yet but an observer. For GRL, you need to be appointed before or on 30 Jun to qualify for Phase 2B the next year. -
Hi, I am pretty new to this forum - I hope someone is kind enough to help me with my queries and I can take it from here.
1. How do we go about participating in a neighbourhood committee or any other committees that allow for non-residents to serve?
2. In order for Phase 2B scheme - do we need to serve in the constituency we reside in or are we allowed to serve in other constituency which the school is located in instead? say for instance, my residence is under the Tanjong Pagar GRC and the school I am keen in is located under the Moulmein-Kallang GRC. What are my options pls? Other than NC - am I allowed to serve in other clubs where they will accept non-residents within the GRC?
3. I have always been serving in church volunteer services and therefore would look towards having long-term continuity in the area I serve within the community.
Would appreciate if someone experienced can share with me further details before I approach PA.
Thank you so much. Cheers! -

But even so, I believe you can only be Associate Member and AM does not enjoy full benefits like Executive Members (members who serve in their own area). Hence you still might not get to register at 2B, do check this out to confirm.

Hi,The letter must have PA logo on the top right. Signed by Constituency Director.
MP's signatory is not being acknowledge.
When you need to get the letter? It is automatic distributed by the Constituency Manager from the CC. Your hubby should know the CM in charge of his IC.
Do they have controls in the number of letters distributed each year?
Is there a limit as to how many letters each GRC are entitled to give to give out? -

No quota. All eligible GRL will get the letter.

If you are appointed, you will receive an appoinment letter by PA. Also in your minutes of meeting, it will indicate if you are a committe member or observer. -

My hubby is a RC member..his member juz expired but will renew next tue in e weekly MP meeting on tue..btw we stay in Sin Ming..he will start to help out in weekly MP meeting next week too..understand we need a letter to show that we r under phase 2B.. May I know what kind of letter n need to sign by who? When we need to get frm them? Thanks a lot...
RC member is not the same as RC Executive Committee Member. As a committee member, he will receive a letter of appointment by PA.
The weekly Meet the People Session is not the same as being in a Grassroot Organisation. 2 different things.
