No quota. All eligible GRL will get the letter.
Hi,octoberbaby:
The letter must have PA logo on the top right. Signed by Constituency Director.
MP's signatory is not being acknowledge.
When you need to get the letter? It is automatic distributed by the Constituency Manager from the CC. Your hubby should know the CM in charge of his IC.
Do they have controls in the number of letters distributed each year?
Is there a limit as to how many letters each GRC are entitled to give to give out? -

I've recently being appointed as grassroot leader (first meeting in July). Since phase 2b registration is in July, I thought I would have served 1 year by the time of registration next year. But I've also read that I need to be appointed before 30th June. May I know if I'm too late?
You mean you just started to attend the first meeting in RC? If so, you're not a GRL yet but an observer. For GRL, you need to be appointed before or on 30 Jun to qualify for Phase 2B the next year.
If you are appointed, you will receive an appoinment letter by PA. Also in your minutes of meeting, it will indicate if you are a committe member or observer. -

My hubby is a RC member..his member juz expired but will renew next tue in e weekly MP meeting on tue..btw we stay in Sin Ming..he will start to help out in weekly MP meeting next week too..understand we need a letter to show that we r under phase 2B.. May I know what kind of letter n need to sign by who? When we need to get frm them? Thanks a lot...
RC member is not the same as RC Executive Committee Member. As a committee member, he will receive a letter of appointment by PA.
The weekly Meet the People Session is not the same as being in a Grassroot Organisation. 2 different things. -

Do check if you join the CC, is it as a CCMC member? You can a CCMC member of other constituency that is different from your home address.Hi, Dear all,
There are 2 CCs near my home. I went to one of them first, and they told me that volunteering in CC can cross the branch, no need to the one my address belong to. They asked me to sumbit the application and waited for their next meeting, altough i am belong to other CC. However, the other CC answered me contrarily. They said that I must doing volunteer with them, my application to other CC must be rejected. Unfortunately, the number of volunteers of them and the RC which I belongto is over-subscribed.
Any one can help:
Whose answer is correct? Or, where can I get the clear-cut answer?
Should I join the CC where accept my application but I amn't belong to?
Many Thanks -

I called up the cc and was told that I was appointed as member effective 1st July. Does it mean I missed the qualification since I have to be appointed by 30th June? -

Pls be careful, most CC's sub-committees like CSC, IAEC, MAEC, WEC, YEC etc are not entitled to P1 P2B privilege. CCMC's members are usually appointed from existing GRLs. Pls check before you jump in and realised few yrs later that you don't have P2B priority.

Member of what committee? It has to be CCMC, any others not counted. Also, official date must be 30th June.

Tricky situation on the date of appointment and the actual committee you are in. First find out the name of the committee. Your appointment letter should say so. Secondly, regarding the date of appointment better check with the CC's director for better info.
