Can someone advise me on how to join the NC (Neighbourhood Committee).
Is it the same as RC? Just go to the nearest CC and apply?
Can this be done online? -
Libratigger:
Very simple. He is either a CCMC or CCC member. Only such member is allowed to apply for a school within the GRC that he stays AND the GRC that he volunteer in. Of course the distance plays a part too.Dear all,
I have this question and hope someone can help clarifies. I understand that GRL can only serves in the GRC that he/she resides in. And Phase 2B is only applicable to the schools within the GRC. However, I came to realise that a person I know has managed to serve in another area and successfully applied to a school that is not within the GRC that he/she is serving. They have relocated to a unit near the choice school within 1km.
Point : volunteer do not reside in the GRC nor the school is within the serving GRC. Neither has \"connection\"
Is there a loophole or possibility that we could do such an arrangement?

don't abuse the word \"volunteer\" leh
go do PV I think higher chance -
is it true that being a grassroot leader in A GRC does not recognise you as Phase 2B for a primary school in B GRC/SMC ?

RC is for HDB residents while NC is for private housing residents. Apply at CC(where u stays) or via NC/RC which looks after your zone. Used to be able to apply online but not sure about now.
