Congrats! Good to hear that it’s this fast, save the worry.
Just to update, I got my letter via email within a week after it got approve in the system. All the best everyone! -
DCD just called me to collect the letter, there’s still hardcopy. I’ve not received any emails yet.

As long as the condo is still within the GRC of your previous address, letter is still valid, as the schools stated in the letter is tied to the GRC you stayed in while volunteering. If you move outside the GRC, means letter is void.
maybe this has been askes before, not sure
but can you do GRL in a HDB RC and then do two years of active work, get the letter and then move to a private condo nearby to be under 2B? -
Hi may I please check where it states that you are able to use the PA letter even if you move after getting the letter to be nearer to school of choice assuming staying within same GRC? Thank you.

Ideally, you move before applying for the letter, so that the address listed on both the PA letter and the NRICs are the same, and things are a lot clearer. Still, I don't think that's an issue. The MOE website states that \"The address used for P1 registration should be the parents' official residential address as reflected on the NRICs\". This, coupled with the PA letter stating a GRL can apply for any school in the GRC, should cover for situations where parents move closer to a school in the same GRC before registration.

Rules are rules la.
Don’t work around ideals.
Can shift or cannot shift house - go ask your CD. The letter is too important for guess work. -
Hi! Does any know if the new election border will affect our letter? Just realised that both the school and my address was changed from a GRC to SMC based on new election border update, however the letter was based on pre-election constituency.
Anybody have any knowledge about this? Like 2016, registration will be based on pre-election boundary. Will this year be the same? -
I am caught in the same situation.
Called MOE, MOE asked me to check with the School.
Called the School, the school asked me to check with PA.
Called PA, and the PA asked me to check with the school.
Feedbacked to the SMC election candidate, and no reply till now. -

I am caught the same situation as you. Newly updated from my RC that this year will follow the pre-election border. Maybe you can check on your side too.
