Wah... so dangerous ah... She's born in 2009, registration in 2015 Aug for 2016 P1 entry. Should be ok rite? Elections in 2016 rite?
Maximum term for the current government is 5 years which by right the election should be in 2016. But there might be possibility that the PM will call for an election earlier (e.g 1 yr earlier that is 2015 if that year is a \"favourable\" year -
Can I check if a referral is required to join the grassroots? Or just apply?

Since your husband is a CCC member, the phase 2B is for the GRC he is serving and the GRC he is residing. Can a GRL (CCC Member) in GRC X qualify under Phase 2B in GRC Y (where he lives)?
Hi everyone - gong xi fa cai!
This thread is really long and I got confused. Please help me out!
My husband is a CCC member at Mountbatten SMC but we live at an address in Moulmein-Kallang GRC. Would our kid qualify for 2B in a school in Moulmein-Kallang GRC like RGPS? What sort of document does my husband need to get? Does the letter from PA entitle him to be an \"active community leader\" in both Mountbatten and Moulmein-Kallang? Does he have to tell PA beforehand that he wants to apply at a school in Moulmein-Kallang, or is it just a generic letter to say \"this guy is an active community leader, please let him apply under 2B in any school in Mountbatten or in the GRC where he lives\"?
Thank you in advance for your help. :?: -

Forgot to add that when the time comes for P1 registration, the CC will ask all GRLs who wants their kids to be under Phase 2B to register. Once done, PA will send you a letter confirming your husband's GRL status.

"Phase 2B2 (ii) or whose parent is a member endorsed by the church/clan directly connected with the school;"
Hi dear parents,
how does one get into this category? (church or clan?)
Thanks -
Church or Clan =
For mission schools (Catholic, Buddhist, Christian etc), you need to be a part of the religious organization.
For clan schools (Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan), you need to be a member of the clan. Of coz you can only join if you are Hokkien, and have 2 current members to refer you in.
Others who don’t have church or clan will go the grassroots or PV routes… -
Hi,
I called the constituency council and I am rather confused now.
I was told for ppl staying in condominium does not/cannot join any RC /NC.
So how do I apply for GRL to be EM and how do I know which one to go to that belongs to the area where I live? -
