Callie Tan:

Went for my girl's school Briefing for P1s last Saturday... Think they are doing model drawings in P1 because we are required to attend a workshop for parents on how to do & teach model drawings in March 2011.

Once you finish your workshop shere it with us please.

I am learning.... going to teach her during the weekends. Mine is in P2. she is doing addition and subs @ school. (1-1000.) If I teach her earlier then she can catch it in the school properly. :xedfingers:

I will try my best to share ya?? hehe...

 I flipped her P1 Maths textbook for first time last night...what has been taught so far is number words from zero to ten as well as numbers 1-10.

        As for teachers@work, I get Conquer Vocab/Grammar/Comprehension.

        Jenet
        I got Conquer Vocab/Grammar/Comprehension/ synthesis $ Transformation/ Cloze/Editing& Punctuation

For the 'Conquer' range, can close eyes to buy them. Like you, I got all of the above except for Conquer Cloze. Thank goodness for the complete range, solve my headache of having to stand in Popular.
Got all Conquer titles for both my kids - P5 and P1.
wow like that I must check out the conquer range of books liao...
Wow.... your DD & you are motivated to do 1 chapter every night :salute:

I can't manage that for DD2 as I'm also coaching my P6 DD this year. Feel guilty sometimes as I'm not giving DD2 as much guidance as I did for DD1 when she was in P2.

I planned in such that their subjects don't clash...hubby teaches Maths & Science. For eg on nights when son does Eng, daughter will do Maths.
          No choice lah.

Sounds like you've got a good system in place. You're indeed lucky your DH can help you out. ...
Ya my hubby totally hands-off when coaching schoolwork is concerned. The only thing he does is to read with my girl, that's all.

Yeh...if having a mini bar @ home is fashion.....then having a mini popular at home is my passion.

Having a mini popular is my DD1's passion....bookshelves are all her novels!! She told me she wants to have her own study with rows of books like the ones she sees in TV...I told her to wait till she gets her own big house..haha.

I ‘outsourced’ teaching daughter spelling to hubby…don’t have the patience for that.
