Thank you for your great Idea.

I really messed up everything. I started teaching Bar modelling cause Her school has started teaching them. At the same time thot of doing some rivision, and make her do the 1st chapter...... now I am stuck because I found that she is not very clear in her 1st chapter. now going back to basics to encourage her to learn place value 😒

      Hi plum-cake,
Don't think you messed things up. I'm also teaching my DD models now. My DD also forgets old stuff once new topics are being taught. So sometimes, I also need to revise old topics with her when I have time.

Give your DD time. I'm sure she'll get the hang of all the place values with more practice. :ugogirl:

      Thank You Tinkerbelle,

Hope I'll finish everything before march 1st ca1 math :!:

          For P6, it's just 1 book...P1-5 has both A and B.

Thank you Janet. Yes, P6 is come in just 1 book.

Nope, I don't have that. For English reference, I have the 'Basic English Essential' recommended by school. It's for lower primary. Other than that, I like the Teachers' Production Grammar for lower primary...not bad to fall back on fm P1-3. The Teachers' Production is comprehensive, including vocab like 'Adults and their young', 'Sounds made by objects', 'Animal sounds and motions'. Oops, posted in wrong thread. This is for P1/2 Maths.

                        Hi Mummies,

My daughter’s teacher just replied my email.

She told me she will be teaching the girls to use Models this year but is not compulsory to use models when solving problems.
