So tomorrow is the day of 2c balloting. I wish the kiasuparents can get the schools of their choice. I will stay home and wait for the call. Don't think I want to be there to witness the balloting. Will update you all on the outcome once I hear from the school.

Though 9 is not a long wait :-p, I don't think I can stand the heart poping feeling each time a number is called out. Think I will try not to think about it and just let the school inform me :lol:

the balloting will be over in a short while, but do you think the school will call all 58 parents immediately after that? the wait might be longer.

Just to touch a little on the alumni topic.


My mother went thru up and down, visit the school everyday beg the principal to get me into you know which school. Donated some money too. That was in the 70’s. Till now she still remember.

That time we stayed very far, i had to take 1.5 hrs bus each way to school every day. remember pocket money 50cents!!

So what you parents do now, your kids will remember.

Hello everyone. I am back. I went window shopping instead of waiting at home :lol: waited till 430pm only called the school. As expected, my boy does not have lucky draw luck (it runs in the family) so we have to go through registration process again next week. This time at AMK. Oh well. May be just not meant to be so we already prepared. Will pray that whatever school my da ends up with, he will be happy there.

:imsorry: At least you can tell yourself that you tried. Many of us chickened out of even trying for CHS. We all tell ourselves that it is God's will. I am still convincing myself that we went to another school for the badminton CCA (which CHS does not offer). No matter wat school our kids end up in, we kiasuparents will still give them the best and help them succeed wherever they are.
