Yes, I went to the uniform supplier at Katong Shopping Centre.

For the name tag, you need to submit to the supplier in the school today. If you didn't managed to submit it today, you can contact the supplier \"The Continental Book Centre\" (大陆书局). You can call them at 6247-8482 / 8338-3468 and get them to fax/email you the order form. The supplier will deliver the tag to the school bookshop and will be issued to student by the form teacher when school opens. I believe it is those iron on name tag.

i ve collected my boy nametag today from the bookshop saw the collection list, not many collected from 1Caring.


i going to iron on and get my mum to sew (double secure) them onto the uniform this weekend ....

now left the English (stellar activity booklets) and social studies which according to the bookshop assistant, these books will be issued in class next year.

Gotten an sms from bus driver yday, confirmed on the bus number and fare ... then realized I have to pay for school holiday month even not taking the bus :moneyflies:

My boy also packed his school bags and kept asking why his school bag so light... LOL

wow, so early pack school bag! my girl is oso in 1 Caring. We went to collect the name tags last week. We have got the social studies text book, only left with the Stellar English book and journal. Wonder whether these can be collected on the first day? which bus is ur boy taking? mine will be bus 1A but we requested for one way back to student care after school.

My boy taking bus 9, also taking single trip service back to my mum place.

jamum, bus fare is paid on monthly basis, except for starting of the year and mid yr.


as we need to pay the fare for Jun and Dec holiday , the operator will collect fare for Jan and Dec (2012 Dec holiday) this month … and May & June (2012 Jun holiday) fare @ begining of May.

jamum, my boy like Ms Soh alot too :grphug: and so far he looks happy going to school. He called me this afternoon, informing that he has homework today so will skip his afternoon nap ... so excited to receive homework. Ya... and I hope enthusiasm will last too ... LOL


I am surprised that Ms Soh recognized my boy by name on the 1st day. She spoke to me a few times on day 1 and I find her very friendly too. Also glad that the teacher took the effort to setup a class blog to facilitate communication

My boy also like his buddy (a P5 girl) , and very nice of her to give my boy a hand made \"Welcome card\" today.
