There are no streaming in P3 and P4. They will only stream in P5. I do not agree on the system as some of the high capability children are not trained to do more. They also do not have time to focus on children with lower learning capabilities. sigh...

My eldest DS is from the class. I understand that the next 2 batches 2009 and 2010 have better performance. For 2008, the top students are not from 6/1. They were put in 6/1 because of their strong ability in Mathematics and Science. They changed the system after this batch and put all high ability students to the first class.

My second DS will be in P4 next year. I hope the new principal can maintain the good results in PSLE.

In one class, you might have 2 to 3 top 20 students, etc.

They have a system to ensure that the top students are spread evenly among the classes. In one class, you might have 2 to 3 top 20 students, etc.[/quote]so means no streaming for our kids???
