There isn't any streaming in Catholic High. Just as like any other primary school, some teachers do more and some do less that's all.

Not that i know of for P1, more like coincidence that boys are more cooperative and teachers are able and willing to teach more?
I see. Thanks for the prompt reply.

Hi, just to check is there \"express\" class in P1?

I've talked to seveval parents from different classes, their kid's class learning progress seems are different, most of class are having common/similar pace except one class (having faster pace and even some additional materials ), that's the background of my question above. Thanks
As far as i know, this is not the case for catholic high. At least not when my boy was in P1.

For old boys from ex Catholic High (primary + Secondary) \"Full\" schools,

If your K2 son is a SC living outside 2 km,
              there is no guarantee that
he can come back safely to Catholic High primary school, in the event of balloted out.
              Hence,
need to prepare a backup school in Phase 2B / 2C, just in case.

                Dear experienced parents,

My boy has been admitted to CHS for P1 in 2024. As working parents, we are also looking for his after school care.
Any parent here has any feedback on its school based student care (Commit Learning Schoolhouse) please? Thank you so much for taking time to reply. 🙂

P2 pupils will be allocated to different class in P3, just want to know if there are any "criteria" for such allocation? And which is/are the "top" class in P3? Thanks

                      Hello fellow parents,

Can I ask what the chances are of putting my child in Cat High primary for phase 2C, <1km? I’m considering between that and KCPPS (Alumni, <1km). I prefer Cat High but I’m wondering if it’s too risky to forego my chance at the earlier phase for KCPPS in order to try for Cat High at phase 2C.

Any thoughts or advice to share please? Thank you!

If your son is SC, living less than 1 lm from the school,

your chance of balloting into Catholic High Junior is only … 50 percent. The balloting at CHS (Phase 2C, open to public), is very intense !

                        Why?

                        Because

everything depends on your own luck, on that balloting day … Is either an "in" or an "out".

So, always prepare a backup school in Phase 2C Supp, just in case.

If you do not wish to take risk, then, just stick to Kuo Chuan Presbyterian primary school under Phase 2A, since you are an alumni. Then seek Transfer later on to CHS, during P1 to P3.

KCPS is also a good school.
