Thanks for the info. I though for Phase2B there will be still chances for PR PVs if available places are more than number of SC applicants in this phase? not sure if my understanding is correct or not though.

Anyway SAPS under P2B no ballot so all can get in... Good luck
Lily_2010:
Thanks. I know the chance is very small. 🙂
Anyway, can any mummy share SAPS falls under which CC? Just in case they don't accept PR for PV. Thanks!

If you are PR and Catholic you should be able to get into Phase 2B.
Wow. Is there alot of work to be a grassroot leader?

yes it is and u need to be the executive member to be eligible for phase 2B
Hello mommies, I am holding a PR and recently moved to Bukit Gombak area. For my girl (3 years old though), seems the best choice will be for her going to SAPS. Looking at this forum seems they don't accept PV and grassroot leader would be the only way to try to get a chance.
Could anybody share that SAPS falls under which CC?
And is it very difficult to become a community leader like how long?
Thanks in advance!
If ur child is a PR then no chance to get into SAPS due to the new rules that places for SC 1st.

Hi happyfeet11,

Yes, all anthonian and their teachers will relocate to jurong (used to accommodate Da Zhong last year) for academic year 2013 to 2014. In holding school they will still operate as 2 session with P1 P2 in the afternoon session.

They are going to move back to bt Batok for academic year 2015 with single session.

As for rebuilding is still on going discussion, but apparently they will not demolish the whole building instead they are going to upgrade from existing one and additional block for extra classroom and facilities.

But again, all still in discussion as school trying to minimize inconvenience during the relocation. Currently, this is the updated info that I can share with you. Rest assure, the school will do their best with all anthonians in mind

Thank you so much for your detailed update to my numerous queries! Deeply appreciated!! It has been extremely helpful especially to easing the already agonizing P1 registration stress jitters.

When you say 'all still in discussion' does this mean there is a possibility that MAYBE there is no move?

Hi Anthonian parents. Just thought of sharing. My child's student care centre is opening another branch very near to St Anthony holding school to cater to their student affected by the relocation. I've checked and were told they still have vacancy for next year.

For parents looking for student care service or having transport problems, this is an alternative you might want to consider. It will be located at Blk 244 Jurong East St 24. Very convenient. Less than a minute walk from the holding school and I was told the teachers will be fetching the students from the school.

Hope this helps! 😄

hi all, have you all received the orientation letter from SAPS ?

It’s on 10th November Saturday.
I supposed it should still be at the bukit batok location right?
My daughter will be in class 1-8.
what about the rest of your kids?

hi bbroom
my baby will be going to 1-2. he has graduation ceremony on 9th November, so the orientation date is timely.
i am assuming it is at the bukit batok location.
intend to pre-order the books.
there are no separate dates given for uniform purchase except 3rd November.
any idea if they will be having any tests?

oh uniform purchase is only on 3rd?

I don’t remember seeing this part on the letter…must go back and read again…
I thought we are also buying uniform on 10th November during the orientation…

The letter states that uniform can be purchased on 3rd and 10th. I think next week may be crowded. Thinking of going back during December to buy. Do you know if they will be opened?
How many sets of uniform and PE shirt to buy? 2U and 3PE enough? Afternoon session wonder how they are going to conduct PE lessons.
