Hi, I guess it refers to visual-spatial skill when doing the Maths. This skill enables the child to perceive space, position, shape and size.[For maths, there's no grade? Only a slip of paper telling us whether they meet expectation or approaching expectation. The comment i got from the teacher is that my dd needs to work harder on spatial something.... what is this spatial thing?
My friend's son told her that he didn't have enough time to complete some stations for the hands on assessment.
My dd said that there were quite a number of her classmates failed english too!
Hope this information useful. -

Mine just Maths & Chinese. And my dd's FT told the class that most of them failed the maths hands-on assessment

:!: Most of them failed the Maths hands-on assessment? So, did your daughter pass the test?

Yes, my dd received the slip. Her 2 weaker areas are Time & Shapes. What I rec is the paper with some ticks on 'Meet Expectations' or 'Approaching Expectations' - same as all of you!!
My DS did tell me his score though...as usual careless....
. Dont know what to do with this careless streak of his :?
However, her FT told them the marks for the hands-on but didn't bring back any paper for parents to see.... -
blue-march:
Yes, she did!

:congrats: -
For Chinese, the teacher will choose the best 5 out of the 6 assessments.
For English and Maths, all 6 out of 6 will be counted.
The assessments will form 30% of the overall result.
Does anyone know if this week's assessment will it be the last one or not? I have lost track of how many they have done. -

Aiyah! Nothing to be happy about. The end of these tests mean the final exams are coming soon, and the problem is, my son is still as careless.
So, less time to tackle this problem!!!
famangelina31:
No, I didn't. Heard from my son that his form teacher mobilised two senior students to help out because no parent was available to help.BTW, did you go for the learning journey with them?
The problem is, the teacher didn't say she needed help.
