oops, yes Tuesday is the long day, not Wednesday.
I thought the long day is Tuesdays.
Anyway seems the school is approaching the syllabus differently from other schools. I somewhat like this approach.
Since I had paid for her recess and lunches during the orientation - For recess she had rice with ikan bilis, cucumber slices & egg, lunch is the same but w/o the egg!!! Hopefully next week will be better. -

my girl fr 1/8 received both English & MT spelling list y'day. Yes, Tuesday she will go to school in PE attire & change to uniform b4 recess. This is in her \"Diary\"So far my kids (1/5 and 1/8) are enjoying school. My DD got the English spelling list yday, but DS still has not got it. Anyone from 1/5 and 1/8 here?
Today the first long day is here, so waiting to hear how they coped with it. The time table given to them is only for Term 1 since at the Curriculum talk it was mentioned that they will be doing swimming and Wushu in T2 and T3 and Music and Dance in T4.
Hey, did any of your kids have to change into PE attire/uniform in school today? My kids didn't bring any note like this and the handbook/note from school specifically said that unless mentioned, normal uniform on Tues. Also wondered as PE first lesson for both! -

saw in the dairy that they supposed to submit the spelling book, didn't know is it for Chinese or English...anyway emailed mrs tan, was informed by her that the broad line exercise book wasn't in the booklist and she ask me to pass 40cents to my son so that he can purchased it from the book shop...Parents do take note on this.... -
Think probably every class’s diff cos’ my girl had fried noodles during recess today and noodles soup for lunch.
Preciousjam, I also called Mrs Lynn Tan enquiring abu the so-called spelling exercise book. Was also told that it was not included in the booklist and thus will pass the money to my girl tmr so that she can get it from the bookshop. Was told it’s only required next week. -

Yeah it was there after the Tuesday class...Anyway she did play PE and from next week, I'll send her in PE attire and keep the uniform in her bag.Thanks for this, I told my girl abt your girl, she was surprised that I know someone's dad!! :lol:
