does anyone of you stay at Senja rd? Jus want to find out the pickup time for school bus arrangement and what time the children will reach home after school?

My kids do not take the AM bus, but I do know that the buses reach school around 7:20, so I guess the bus should pick up around 7. In the afternoon, the bus reaches the 6xx blocks around 1:40. But this can change next year, depending on the number of kids and if there are any new stops.

When you sign up for the bus, their representative will give you the exact times.

Orientation last year was somewhere in end November, just around the time of the school holidays.

Any one know if beacon will be conducting small test for the children during orientation? Heard from my friend, some schools do that. What will be done during the orientation?

Most schools usually conduct a small test during orientation, so that they will group the students in classes. But this is not done in Beacon, my daughter did not take any test last year during her orientation.

Understand from my daughter was that they were brought around the school, while the parents stayed in the hall for some briefing.

My daughter is in the last class, cos I waited till the last day when there was no crowd when I registered, thus she is in the last class.

My girl came back today and told me she had 2 common tests today, English & Maths. Anyone know anything about this? Is it a mock test?


She also mentioned next week will be her last session of swimming and they will be tested based on the ‘freestyle’ strokes???
