I’ve also received the yellow copy confirmation but no class mentioned.


May I know what should one expect to receive by mail before class starts next year? Do we need to pop down to the school for registration?

I think before Orientation Day the letters will be sent out. No need to go to the school before Orientation Day for anything. Of course, if you want to see the teachers, can pop in, but IMHO, no point till you know the form teachers etc.

Can I go in place of my kid?

My Wife and kids will be at the in-laws for 2 months (overseas).

I think that should not be a problem. Only thing is that from what I remember last year, parents were given talks by the principal etc while the kids were taken to see the school. If your son is not around, maybe you get someone else with you who can sit for the talks and you go around the school or vice-versa so that when your son comes back you know what to show him.
