Hi! My son is also in 1/6 next year.Me too, not invited to the awards ceremony tomorrow. But my daughter was given a gold medal last week for outstanding award achievement in arts.

can anyone advise if all text & exercise books need to be brought to school on first day of school? I understand some books will be kept at school. My child was at a different school for the first half of last year so arent sure how things are like at Beacon on first day of school. I just realised my child’s schoolbag is already so heavy with just the core subjects’ books in it…
Would appreciate any advise…

I am sending all the books with my kids today as sometimes some books will be kept in school. Since my kids are in P3 this year, with the addition of Science, the bag has become so heavy! Hope to get the timetable today so can regulate the books from tomorrow.

Check his bag as usually the timetable is given on the first day. In fact the normal school timetable will come in effect from tomorrow.

He got his 5th cohort medal today
Nope, since day 1, no timetable has been given. Tomorrow is the last day of the orientation week. Let's hope he will get to bring it home.
Anyway, my daughter (p3) took home the timetable on day 1.
