Hi all Beacon parents,

After much up and downs, finally my son have transferred to Beacon for his Primary 1 next year. Beacon have always been the first choice school as I feel it matches my son interest and learning ablility. Furthermore it will be the closest school to my new home besides Greenridge. However due to unforseen turn of events I was not able to secure a place for my son.

I am very happy that he is able to start his p1 in Beacon Primary. See you all at the orientation tommorow.

Do we still need to bring along the birth cert and immunisation cert for the orientation tmr??

My memory is a bit foggy - 4 years already!


If I remember correctly you should gotten a letter from the school. Do see what the letter says - if you have already submitted copies of the birth cert and immunization certain during the registration, then no need.

Hi parents just to check in the P1 timetable we are told to bring "A4 Art Paper - 1 pad" for the first day of school. Is this the A4 construction paper under the optional item of book list or is this referring to the A4 drawing paper? TIA

Thanks for the help. I notice got a lot recommended art materials. My kid had art lessons so he have most of the items. Do i need to buy the recommend items or the mic set. Or just any generic pc mic will be ok with the school?

It is better to buy the mic set that is recommended in case the one that you purchase outside is not compatable

Beacon's first PSLE cohort will give their PSLE exam in 2013 so no results for the school this year

I never receive any timetable for my girl... U mean u got the timetable for your kid already?
