Any of you sign your kids up for the Han Yu Pin Yin enrichment programme to be conducted by the service provider?
      No. I chose not to.

Hey... my son is in 1A. I can get my wife to call you. My son is super blur in class too. I am equally lost.

My initial plan was not to sign up for it but upon reading, I realised the programme will be conducted on Wednesday during Contact Time. Since DS takes the school bus to school, he reaches at 12.15. Instead of spending time in the hall watching cartoons, thought it will be good if he goes for it.

DS is going to have his 2nd Maths Topical Test today. Are the other classes too? My DS is just as blur too. Guess they are still grabbling with the new phase of life.

I did. classes are very cheap!
plus my son's chinese is v poor, so more exposure will be good for him.

                      diary?? signature??
So far i have only be signing on the spelling books.
                      no test sheets so far.

my son's diary is mostly empty except for some homework instructions once in a while.
so i have to check his books to see if he circled any pages (as homework to do).

Any parents here who'd revise with their children the topics covered in the textbook? i dun even know what pages were taught in school. alamak.

                      OH NO ....
i wish the teachers would blog what they conducted in class.
I dun mean to compare .... another school i know of requires their teachers to blog so that parents know what is going on.

Good and bad .... good cos parents are more informed.
Bad cos teacher is laden with more work, and parents could get even more ultra KS.

cody, sun_2010: yes there was a test on last friday. it was mentioned before the cny hols in the diary and a reminder was also given the week after the cny hols.

DS also mentioned about the maths quiz which was held late last month (if i remember correctly).

Anyone with child from 1E by the way?
