MrAYeo:
My son is in P2 this year and is going P3 next year. He told me that they are changing class next year. May I know how are the classes allocated?
Comes in the form of 3Ix and 3Cx.
- x being numeric from 1 - 5 or 6
Based on earlier posts by fellow parents, the final results will be divided by half. Top half allocated to the I classes. -
will there be another round of streaming after this ? Or pupils will follow through till P6?

Lai:
So 3I1 is the top class all the way to 3I5, being the last of the top halfs...?MrAYeo:

For example, my DD's top classmate is in 3I5 whereas the 2nd is in 3I3. -

The kids will surely switch classes from P3 to P4, and P4 to P5.
But not sure if they'll switch between the I and C-classes.
Once in P5, they'll stay together till PSLE. -
so can anyone there feedback whether a kid will be switch from C to I (vice versa) base on their academic perforamces.
too early to justify a kid learning ability. -
puzzle:
My talk with a Form Teacher tells me that it is possible to switch.so can anyone there feedback whether a kid will be switch from C to I (vice versa) base on their academic perforamces.

And Yes it is too early to brand a kid .
We should also remember that the purpose of this distribution is to ensure a better fit so that the teachers can plan the lesson which will be better tuned to the class. So for kids who bloom a little later will then be grouped acccordingly. -

Yes there is possible of switch from C to I and also I to C. Was told before some kids in C classes are very good in math as compared to the I class ones.

Hi all HPPS parents, my son just got posted to HPPS GEP class. Anyone can give me feedback on the sch? I intend to send him to Sch. How’s the traffic like? Where is the best plc to drop him? He is interested in tennis CCA. Does he have to go through a selection test? What is ECCA n what’s the criteria to join? Finally, where n when to buy books n uniform.
TIA
