Hi, I have a few qns re tomorrow’s CCA orientation. If my dd had decided to sign up for the CCA which is the same as her previous school, can she go straight to this particular CCA booth to submit her option form? Does she have to stay back to view all the CCAs till 4pm? Can she leave after she has decided? Her school bus is not sending the kids home after extra activities in school for this week. I thought of bringing her home if she’s decided and done before 4pm. Thanks.

Hi chiclil, there is no need to attend the orientation if yr DD already has a CCA and does not wish to change, but it is still necessary to submit the form.

Hi E3, I think once you have selected the desired CCA, you and yr DD can leave immediately, there is no need to stay as the orientation is like an 'open hse'.

An appeal to parents driving to school in the morning:


If driving into the school driveway, PLEASE do not wait to get onto the left side of the driveway, esp if you are driving in from Kings road from Bt timah road. Your child can be dropped off on the right driveway as well. There are Pvs and teachers ensuring the children’s safety when crossing the road at the pedestrian crossing within the school.

Part of the reason for the jam on Kings road in the mornings is that parents are all waiting to get onto the left driveway, and the wait and tailback can be as long as 15 minutes, all the way to Crown Centre. Please help to alleviate the jam into school by driving onto the right driveway.

This morning, despite the long row of cars going in, I noticed that there were very, very few cars on the right driveway, whereas on the left driveway it was bumper to bumper. Please do your part and everyone’s drive into school will be much smoother.
