oh then what other means can i get into phase 2B...but I do stay within 2KM....sigh!

Through religious affiliation ... such as becoming a member of the Methodist Church? That will put you in Phase 2B category.

Hi, we are just returning from overseas work. My son was successfully registered in ACS(J) so we will be back in school soon. I am a concerned parent, worried that my son may have difficulty adjusting to Singapore education. Do you know of anyone also in this category? Maybe have some advice for me? What I should do? Especially worried about MT and the fast paced, stressed education

I agree. More rich kids/ rich dads in ACSP, naturally more challenging for kids to cope with such peer pressures : )

So I personally feel that ACSJ is a better place to nurture/ groom a kid and he also have good mix of \"hard-lander\" friends who are not old boys/ rich dad affliated. The only inconvenience is to travel back to Barker regularly for ECAs.

                    Hi Panerai,

Why do ACSJ boys have to travel regularly to Barker Road for ECAs?

                    Are you talking about swimming?

                      [/quote]Hi!

                      Just to share.

Most CCA are held within the school premises. Even if there are any activity held out of the school, usually school bus will be provided.

As for swimming CCA, it is held @ Keppel Club. School bus is provided.

My boy is registered for P1 in ACS Jr Yr 2010. Keep in touch! Am currently overseas, so will be nice to know if it is difficult to immerse him back in Singapore school system. I asked the students there for swimming lessons, they go to ACSP site for it. Do they go Keppel Club for swim? Interestingโ€ฆ
