In Primary One and Two, they will be in the same class together.Hi all

End of Primary Two , after sitting for their final exam and the overall year's results have been calculated, in Primary Three, they will then be placed in different classes, according to merit.
(interesting to know that if want to go to A class, should be in the first 4 positions in class ie if the administrative policy is still the same under new principal)
During my dd's time(she's now in Pr 4), the Primary Three classes are ,according to merit,3A to G,A being strongest -academically

Correction: First 4 in class position does not warrant a place in A class. The School looks at the overall result in whole P3 level. A child may be 3rd in his class but 42nd in standard. Conversely, another child is 15th in his class but <40th in whole standard, he gets into 'A' class. This year onwards, the classes are not named from 'A' to 'G', but I believe the system remains unchanged. In Primary One and Two, they will be in the same class together.

Anyone going to attend the 2.30 talk on Friday, and 5.30 talk by P on subject banding for P4s? -
Puffer:
Yeah..correction noted..puffer..I forgot to mention that my dd year in Pr 2 the classmates were really motivated lot ..and smart(they unblinkingly consistently attain for all three subjects 95 and above..and believe me the rvps questions are 'challenging' )so when the teacher gave them that \"1st 4 positions\" goal, she probably could anticipate based on their results (after CA2)Correction: First 4 in class position does not warrant a place in A class. Yeap the workshop is from 2.30-5.30pm, followed by the Subject Banding talk from 6. Did you receive sms from PSG people? Lunch will commence at 1.30pm straight after school. Heard there are over 100 parents (so 200 with kids) signed up! So the speaker Alan Yip is from the famous 'MindEdge'.Yeah..correction noted..puffer..I forgot to mention that my dd year in Pr 2 the classmates were really motivated lot ..and smart(they unblinkingly consistently attain for all three subjects 95 and above..and believe me the rvps questions are 'challenging' )so when the teacher gave them that \"1st 4 positions\" goal, she probably could anticipate based on their results (after CA2)
