hi hi, finally sorted out my P1 to P6 school books... i'm letting them go very very cheap. Whole range of text books for all levels, including P3-6 guide books for science, english & chinese. All in good condition. If anyone is keen pl let me know. :please:

does anyone knows what is the syllabus for next year Primary 1 for DLS?
does anyone knows also where to get the list of books, or school equipment to buy, or where to buy the school uniforms? Dont think the tailor can make all 300 pairs (x 2) for all the new enrolls, if the orientation and all takes place only on 27 Dec 2012. School starts on 2 Jan 13. I am thinking of writing to the MOE soon, as I think the school principal is too busy to answer my request for information.

u need to know kid house color in order to buy PE attire. Uniform and PE can buy from Blk413 Bukit Batok West, 65658961. No idea about tie, make name tag in same shop. sock n shoe any shop

The textbook list and class and uniform grp for p1 students are already out. Next mon or tue, the parents are suppose to go to sch to submit the forms, as well as to purchase the books n uniforn for the kids. And the clothes are not tailor made. They are ready made, and you can purchase them directly on next mon or tue.

Mine is St Dominic. Orientation on 27th Dec.

I am thinking of forming an independant parents support group, as the current one would not be available or contact details made unavailable from the school office until informed later by the primary one teachers when school term starts in 2013.

Also, the aim of this current parent support group appears to be having a ready pool of "cheap labour" for the school activities at all times,
(Note: I remembered a Filipino parent and a few other housewives made to do photocopies of documents, ushers, open the doors, etc during the Primary 1 registration days.)

Must concern parents always made to do the manual work? Cant we serve and assist in the growth of our child in committees that has nothing to do with work that can be taken care off by the fully paid staff of MOE?
