My DS is in P1. I consider to let him join chess club. Anybody know the application procedure, how to get the form? When to apply?

Can i check with mummy here (especially working mother), how & wht u do for the kid after coming back fr work? revision? for me, i will go through his bag and sometimes seem like not much homework leh!

For me - check my girl's school daily, forms, pack her bag for the next day and homework. No revision yet and since not much homework so still quite relax.

you guys attending the P1 briefing session next Friday?

quite cool for the school to hold such sessions with parents
so that they know how the school work with their kids...
This is a great arrangement for lots of curious mummies like us. Sure to be there. :celebrate:

Next week there is a Chinese spelling for my girl. I am not sure whether she needs to learn both the han Yu pin yin and Chinese characters or only han Yu pin yin ? Any idea ? Thanks ! Still trying to cope here.

can't wait to attend the briefing session coz I'm

really curious too how my child is learning....

and....i'm a FTWM too and I also check my son's
bag after school everyday....but u guys r right...
there has not been much homework...wonder
if it is DLS style..... :?

so many spelling words & ting xie !!!! :?:
and for the ting xie of next week,
it seems according to my son, only testing
them on the hanyu pinyin...i think should
be correct since they are emphasizing on
hanyu pinyin now.....but i may be wrong
so maybe other mummies can comment??

btw, do u all know that for CL lessons, some
kids would move to another class for CL?

                  Hi ...

for chinese spelling its only hanyu pinyin...
my son ,1G had chinese spelling on Tue...but teacher didn't mark the book (?)

As for the Cat class , I'm sure it was a mistake..just cut the tag off and write a note to the teacher in diary...
                  😄

                      Hi anna/milkmome,

although yr kids may be in the same class (i.e 1G),
there is possibility that they are in
                      a different class for chinese.

My son is one of them…and I asked his form
teacher, she tell me this is DLS style. somewhere
after the kids hv the SA, they will then start
grouping the stronger kids with the weaker
kids in different classes…for chinese I mean.
