Hi mummies of IE,

I am confused also, my girl in 1E also doesn't have much homework and on the average like what mvelle09 had mentioned only about 2 pages. :? There was no homework when I checked with her last night except art.

MT - My girl is in 1A. No homework from \"xin peng you\" and is onlyfor self reading. :lol:

and nobody has that 10 pgs of Maths hw y'day from 1E??
that's strange....my ds told me everyone was asked to
do those pages....unless he heard wrongly and wrote down
on his dairy wrongly..... sigh.....

normally, ds has only 1-2 pages of hw per subject as per
what the rest say; that's why i found it strange that
y'day my ds has almost 10 pgs of Math to complete

No lah, the Art Hw was given to them during their Art Lesson on Wed. According to my girl the Art teacher told them not to rush into finishing their Art Hw but to do it a little each day so that they can have a nice piece of completed artwork.


As for the Maths Hw, I will have to check with my girl again later.

sorry for probing again......but my ds said no art hw for 1E after wed's lesson....what type of art piece does the kid hv to do now?

I am not sure when this Art Hw was given to my girl. It could be a this week or last week Hw. Its a pattern drawing plus colouring on drawing block.


:oops: So sorry, I hope I am not making you nervous. My girl is very shy,quiet and doesnt like to talk much and due to her being quiet she is usually quite attentive in school. But sometime her feedback may not be reliable too. :oops:

Thanks. Its always my pleasure to share with others. I do understand your worry over your ds. I have two other boys aged 16 and 6. They are very active ,talkative and have very short attention span as compare to my daughter.They make me :?: worry too.


But I am glad I found this forum. The mummies here are really wonderful!

anyway, that's the diff between boys & girls; and those
characterism u listed for yr boys, my boy has it ALL !

Received the show and tell guideline for English, will start to prepare her today. Feel that parents involvement are kind heavy for DSL, not sure whether I am able to cope with my busy hectic schedule.
