Very stress for the exam. My son was not doing well in the mock exam and seem like my effort all wasted. The most angry part is he is so playful and tends to be careless when asnwering questions. Really "NO EYE SEE".

My third one is a boy and expected delivery date is in Aug, hopefully is a national day baby so that can get lots of free gifts. Ha Ha Ha !

Hey, mummies. I were missing for a while due to busy hectic travel schedule and project committment.

Anna, Jia You. Enjoy your wonderful pregnancy journal.

Btw, received SMS from teacher. She indicated that it is important to go thru the maths questions (PY SA and unit Test papers) with kids as it is going to be quite difficult for P1 kids. Cheers.

                  hi mvelle09,

heard fm ds tat the maths paper had a few difficult
questions - so i assume my ds would hv lost marks
from these qns automatically already..... 😒
and plus other careless mistakes; aiyoh, i don't even
dare to see the paper when its back.... 😒 😒

sigh....wonder if they are making the qns so difficult
so as to separate the elite ones from the average ones?
                  :?

                    Hi mommies,

Recently, i found many questions on teacher markings. There is a question in SA1 2008 paper which for them to try:
Qn: Si Ling has 7 stamps. She has 3 fewer stamps than her sister. How many stamps do the girls have altogether?

The ans from the teacher is 11 stamps???

                    What do you think???

Ya hor...... how come I also never read the qn properly.....

.....ans shld be then si ling has 7 and her sister has 10.
                      total 10+7 = 17 i/o 11 hor??!!!??

                      but i think the teacher meant to ask the other way round;
where her sister has 3 fewer stamps than si ling.

but anyway, exams are over & we can only teach our child
to really read the qns more carefully in future...... πŸ˜‰

                        baby2momma,
I believe so, the 1E MT teacher told me personally during the previous parent/teacher meeting that if my girl is able to do well in SA, she will propose the change of MT class for her. As currently she is with class that is not very strong in MT.

On top of it, dd mentioned that her form teacher told them if they do well in exams they are able to move to another better class next term. Do know whether to believe her.
