Hi all,
My boys are currently taking bus 7 to school. The school hour starts at 7:45am but the bus come at 6:15am to pick them up. My boys have to wake up 5 plus to prepare. My P5 is still alright with it but for my P2, he is really feeling super tired and no mood to go to school every morning. Is the bus picking them up too early?
Anyone have the same problem? -

I went to PTM, guess wht? i not able to meet the MT teacher as she was absent and no reason being given. :x :x
Hi Anna,
So did the MT teacher contact you later to discuss your child's performance?
Hi Circle,
Hmmm....that is not good. Did you speak to the principal about this? I think this needs to be highlighted as remember there will be another PTM meeting before the June holidays.
Or let's give them a chance  if this happens again.....then complain...no more chances

Hmmm....that is early. I have a friend whose ds stays at Choa Chu Kang Loop...which is 5mins bus ride from the school and the school bus comes at 7:05am to pick him up.Hi all,

I think it depends on where you stay and how many students he has to pick up, etc, etc. But one thing is for sure most school buses are in school by 7:15 - 7:20am. I think there is 1 school bus that reaches school at 7am...maybe that is bus 7.....hey bus7 for 7am
So even if school starts at 7:45......but I think they have to be in school by 7:30 for reading....the bus drivers will be in school much earlier. -

Which bus is your boys taking? -
My boys are taking bus 7...
And I am staying near South View LRT station which is much nearer to the school.
I don't think the school will help us even if we raise it up to them.
My poor children...

if i'm not wrong, there are like 7 buses catered for shuttling kids to & fro school & home; so i guess it really depends on how the bus operators decide on their routes & all.My boys are taking bus 7...

I can really understand parents who need to wake younger kids up early.... not easy..... even tho my ds has to only wake up at 6.15 to prepare, i'v already got a hard time pulling him out of his bed.... :?: -

No, the MT teacher didn't contact me and i also not bother to contact her. Immediately i enrol my son to Chinese Tuition at Xue Er You. I can save this tuition fee if the teacher is responsible enough. Anyway, heard that she is pregnant and what can we said?Anna Ng:

I had experience from last year PTM. I am very busy last year and cant make it to school to meet the teacher and op for communicate thru email or by phone call. In the end, nobody call me and no email from them too.
Disappointed with a Chinese teacher in DLSS
2 days ago, a teacher confiscated my son's badminton racket and was told that she will keep it for one month. On the very day, I was doing parent volunteer in the school. Since I am in the school, I went to the general office to request to see this teacher. The clerks there was very helpful to help me locate this teacher. But very sadly is, even i was already in the school, she refused to see me. I waited nearly one hour in the general office for her to come out from the teacher's room. She still refused to return the racket to me no matter how i explained to her. She was very unfriendly and refused to compromise. In the end, she insisted that she want to return only on the next day in front of the whole class to teach them a lesson from this incident....
But was told by my son that she did not return to him in front of the whole class and didn't even use this to educate the class as what she said she will do.
I am very disappointed with her rude, arrogant and stubborn attitude towards parent. Maybe teachers are too proud to admit their mistake?
And does confiscating items for one whole month reasonable?
