My son and daughter are in P6 and P1 next year. Hopefully, the gap is sufficient to teach me not to repeat the same mistakes I did with my son on my daughter.

        Hi,

My gal just got into Pri 1 for next year through Phase 2C plus balloting. Really Thank God to let my gal got into this school, the school is just a block away. ๐Ÿ™
She will be having her Orientation on 24 Oct 2009, 9am. I heard from friends that they will be assessments to stream the children to different classes according to their performance of the assessments. Most likely test on English and Maths???

Any parents have any ideas?
        Hi Jennifer,
My son also in P1 this year. He is class 1B. How about your gal?

I am not sure. The school did not inform me about the screening test. She will be joining the school this wed.
Does the children have spelling and \"ting xie\" every week?
Does the school require the children to subscribe to \"Hao Peng You\" and National Geographic magazine? My girl currently subscribed to both the magazine, I wonder whether it can be transfer to Unity?

Who know your daughter will be in the same class as my son. Are you staying nearby Unity?

Yes, they have spelling every week for english, math test every week and han yu pinyin test every fortnightly. Yes, the school require the children to subscribe hao peng you but not National Geographic magazine.

by the way, your question on PE attires. I bought 2 sets for my son cos they got 2 PE lesson every week.
