Hi. Does any parent know if Unity offers Hindi as a 2nd language option? Deciding between DLS and Unity for Phase 2C in a few weeks.

My ds is in P6 of this sch. The sch booklist has identified two books of what we called the ten year series for Maths and English, consisting of past year exam paper from 2007 to 2011. We have bought the books but was kept by the teacher only recently that my ds brought them back but when I looked into them, I was surprised to find that only the first few pages was done for both subjects. Now only left with a month to PSLE, I wonder how the teacher is able to complete it or is it going to leave it. I’m very disappointed with the school cos this is not the only teacher that I’m disappointed with.

Other schools are already gearing up the students for the exam but nothing much was done from this sch. Everyday he has no homework, basically nothing to do from sch…It has been this way since P1. It’s not that I want the sch to load him with work but from what i see here, it seems the teachers have not done their part to educate the students.

Does anyone of you face the same problem?

my DD was in P6 two years ago, at that time they had a lot of worksheets to do, but the teacher also didnt ask them do the past years exam paper until very last stage. I found the books are not so helpful so i didnt let her do also because she was overloaded with homeworks(from school and tuition).
