Will be going tru the Pri 1 registration this year. My 2 top choices : IJ Katong and Haig Girls. Heard from some friends that IJ is much more popular and needs balloting under Phase 2C. Looking tru the Balloting Stats, Haig Girls seems quite safe. I don’t want to go tru the stressful balloting as mentioned by many friends.

Really hope that I can get tru Phase 2C smoothly without balloting for Haig Girls. Any tips from anyone?

Hi everyone, I recently transferred my daughter to Haig Girls as we’re moving from the north back to eastern Singapore. My daughter was in a neighbourhood school before this and I can see that she is a lot happier at Haig Girls. The teachers seem more caring, and I like the holistic education style. Hoping to meet other parents of P2 kids at the school, here!

            Hi,

Is it really true that Haig Girls offers Higher Chinese fr P2 onwards?

My DD is joining HGS next yr for P1. I called the sch and ask if they offer higher Chinese in P2 but they replied that it is only fr P5 (after streaming)…

              Hi there

              Happy New Year!!

hereby joining Parents' network! My girl is in P1(Patience) and she really
enjoys herself in school so much especially buying statoneries from the bookstore.

Anyone can share how much your girl's pocket $$?
My girl is spending everyday's pocket $$ in the bookstore. aiyo.....

BTW any thoughts for their CCA? Which one is the good CCA in Haig Girls?
Seems like they dont have any musical instruments like Er hu etc. Any recommendation on CCA?

Hi, dd is in 1 Grace.
Her pocket money is $1.50. She bought stuffs at the bookshop too.

But, we told her tht she should save the money and buy something meaningful. So now, she is saving up to treat the family ice cream from Scoopz!

No, CCA for her. I'll let her adjust the environment & schedule. I think I'll wait for the required level (P3, right?)
