Looking at the latest statictics, i think your chances very slim. Nonetheless, do give the school a call to check on the 2nd language thingy.

Maha Bodhi only offer Chinese as 2nd language. No Tamil nor Hindi.

kindly refer to schools in Geylang, that offer Tamil :-

but you need to check distance range from your home to the respective school, ie.
is it < 1km, between 1 to 2 km, or > 2km ?
call up MOE helpline customer service help you check.
supply them your postal code address, duty Officer will guide you.

i am new here. My son is also entering MBS in 2013. I managed to get him enrolled under 2A1. I note that some mummies are also old girl/old boy here. Hi Councillor and Wolfgirl! which year are you guys from? Anyone else joining us in 2013 too?

I'm afraid e Sch only accept child who is taking Chinese as their second language (apart from English). Unless u r willing to take up chinese.
Moreover, due to new policy chances of PR getting into e Sch is too slim.

Hi Babybubble... I am from the 1988 batch (graduated in 88).
What about u?
I only have a precious little girl, hence I am inexperienced in Pri school stuff.

Babybbuble here. Haha, i accidentally logged in with my secy's ID coz she created the ID for me. I joined in 1988 and graduated in 1993. So glad the P1 registration and stuffs are over. Next up, 16 October for buying books! Do you live around MBS?

Hi, sorry to hijack your post...my kid will be in MBS next yr...May i know where u get the info of buying books on 16th Oct...I rang the school earlier this week to enquire on student orientation and was told 17th Oct for parents to go school to fill up form...student orientation at last week of Dec...

Hi, anyone can pls advise the most logical things to do after not able to get in under Phase 2B to Maha Bodhi yesterday thru balloting


We are staying in Bishan:
1) To secure a seat under 2C at Kuo Chuan Pri, then waitlist MBS, or
2) Try Pei Chun under 2C if not successful then 2C supplement at Kuo Chuan Pri.
