Don't worry the bus operators would know how to handle.
Historically school bus uncle will ask us to bring the kids to school by ourselves if that is possible.... Otherwise it's challenging for him to squeeze 2 session of kids in the bus. -

I think the stall selling fish ball with maggi nooldes/bee hoon is stall #3. According to my girl (P2) who always patornize this stall claimed that the stall is quite popular. Maybe you just give your girl some notes and coins like one dollar coin and other denomination. I suggest you ask her to pay using one dollar coin. The bowl of food cost $0.80. So I checked with my girl she would normally gave the aunty $1.00 coin so easy for the aunty to give back the change.
Hi Wolfgirl,babybob111:
Until now, my girl only buys chicken rice, noodles and drinks. Dun know which noodle stall, except she described it as something like maggi noodles with some soup, fish ball and fish cake.
So far, I email the P and FT straightaway, but only for applauding the FT for doing a good job. The P replied within 1h.
The maggi noodles with fish ball etc shld be stall no.3. So my my DD's FT is very quick in responding email but not for P. Till now P has not replied anything....maybe busy? I emailed the P1 level mgr last Friday and she mentioned that \"We will take note of the situation that you have mentioned and will do the necessary\".
Regarding the drinks stall, even my son who is in P4 commented that the aunty is very rude. She wants the student to place the order fast and settle the payment fast also. So I always encourage my children to bring packet drinks to school like Milo and others. How can they expect the children to act fast even we adult sometimes also could change our mind in ordering food.
Hi 2818,
Thks...It's a gd suggestion to ask my child to pay $1 coin to the stall #3 auntie. I usually let her bring coins in denominations to school. Perhaps the auntie finds it was wasting her time when my child counted the coins to pay her.
As for the drinks stall...my P5 child also commented abt the auntie's rudeness. I have bought pkt drinks and also told them to bring own drinks instead of buying from her. IMO, she's not only rude, but also a bully! Since she's so impatient, why don't she try selling drinks at the coffee shop? She is unable to take the stress & crowd in sch and she shows her frustrations to the children. Hope the P1 level manager will counsel the drinks stall auntie. If not, I will find a chance to dropby the sch on a Saturday or during the Meet the Teachers Conference in March and speak to this auntie. -

My boy stopped buying milo from drink stall. He said he heard the auntie scolding someone. But that is not the reason he stopped patronizing. He said the milo powder is not completely dissolved, so the taste is not nice.
I think canteen owners shouldn't be impatient at all. These are school children. If I ever hear complain from my kid that the stall owner scold or shout at him, I will definitely take leave and storm in to confront the stall owner the next day! :stompfeet:  -
Today my girl had her chance to clean the canteen tables!
I think it is still considered novel and fun to her! -

I haven't heard from my DD abt the duty roster. Perhaps she was sick and on MC for 3 days. See if she tells me this evening...Today my girl had her chance to clean the canteen tables!
