      Hi there!

Are there any kids from Juying Pri who goes to after-school student care? Any comments or procedures to go about?

My daughter will be in Pri 1 in Juying and I am thinking of putting her to after-school student care. At least she wont be idling or watching tv whole afternoon till i come home.

                  Hi, babyDee

You may want to do a search on the student care centres nearby your house first, then zero in a few you think is ideal in terms of say, location and convenience. From there, you probably need to do some research on those centres that you have in mind, in terms of their student ratio, curriculum, qualification of teachers etc. In terms of location, if it is not within walking distance to the school, and if your child is taking school bus, you will then need to check with the school bus operator if it stops at the student care centre. Hope this helps a bit πŸ˜„

                      jjpho:
hi, i am new here. just wondering whether anybody has a good student care to recommend? am staying at St. 61. Going to register my db in juying for p1.

                      thanks
                      Hi jjpho,
I stay in ST61 too. Our ds (P1 in 2010) is at Whispering Hearts student care at blk 617. Need to buy their uniform. 1 way transport fm school to whispering heart is at $35. School dismiss at 1.30pm, reach center around 2pm. this is what he do daily : had lunch or bath (either one 1st), then do homework, take a nap, t-break and continue w homework.

We visited the place b4 enrol. Visited YMCA and a student care that our neighbour had (P3). We dont like those that are in the shelter (even thought it is air-con). U can select around 3-4 to visit and u will be able to decide better.
                      Cheers!
