      Hi babyDee,
c my post above to jjpho.
      Happy \"shopping\"!

      Hi jiyou2003

Thanks for the info. But I stay near the school so st61 is too far for my daughter. Anyway, I've recce a few and hv narrowed down my choices, one of which is a newly set-up (jul 10) Sparkle*tots, walking distance from Juying. The teacher will fetch the students from the gate of the school and bring the whole lot to the centre. But if your kid is having extra classes or CCA, he/she have to make her way to the centre on his/her own.

But unfortunately, the centre, which also has childcare & kindergarten services, has yet to function as BASC/Student Care. It is still trying to getting enuf people to register. I have placed my daughter's name in the waiting list and keeping my fingers crossed 🙏

          thanks jiyou2003 for the recommendation…

just wondering whether the student care are able to hold my ds till about 8pm… that’s because I will need to fetch my other son whose childcare centre is near my workplace and we usually will reach back to jurong close to 8pm…
has anyone got any comments on the new centre in block 838? it just started operating sometime last year… if I am not mistaken, it’s called bright kids…

              Hi Yerdua,
I think the sch will arrange with the sch bus operator. When P1 went to the zoo in July, DS took the sch bus home. 👅

                      Hi parents,

I need to let off some steam here. My DS is in Juying P1. Recently missed class due to fever. I had left a message to the teacher with the general office the same day as DS suppose to have a test. However, his FT did not return call. Nevertheless, I told him to submit his mc to FT the next day.

When he got home, I asked him did the FT say anything about his mc or the test. His reply shocked me. "when I tell her I am not well, mdm XXX say "So what ? I am also not well !" ".

What kind of teacher are we getting nowaday for P1 FT ? Maybe she really have a bad day that day or maybe she got PMS BUT is that the right tone and word to talk to her P1 students merely telling her his condition seeking for some attention ?? Kids are kids, does she really need to be so harsh ?

Just wondering how will Juying achieve their vision - " To provide a CARING and conductive learning environment…" with such teacher.

Whoah! I would definitely be angry and complain to the principal! FT got the cheek to do that?! Oh my... :x
